Welcome to the OTOA 5K Benefiting the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ohio
Join us on June 9th at the Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio for the inaugural OTOA 5K, a conference‑adjacent charitable event that brings together law enforcement professionals, families, community partners, and conference vendors for a morning of purpose, connection, and fun.
The OTOA 5K is designed to promote professionalism in policing through physical preparedness, strengthen community partnerships, and enhance engagement with OTOA conference vendors—all while supporting an incredible cause. Your participation directly benefits the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Ohio, a worldwide movement of law enforcement officers who champion inclusion and carry the “Flame of Hope” on behalf of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Why It Matters
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest global grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics. In Ohio, LETR raises critical funds that support year‑round sports training, competitions, health programs, and leadership opportunities for more than 20,000 Special Olympics Ohio athletes.
Your registration helps ensure that athletes across the state can compete, grow, and shine—at no cost to them or their families.
