Welcome to My Personal Page
Taking the Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics wasn’t just about jumping into freezing water—it was about choosing to live with purpose. It was about doing something uncomfortable, unpredictable, and a little crazy, not for attention, but for a cause that truly matters.
I wanted to set an example for my kid. I want them to see that doing good doesn’t always come easily, that meaningful actions often require sacrifice, courage, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. Sometimes it means taking a deep breath and leaping into the cold—literally—for the sake of others.
The Special Olympics represents inclusion, perseverance, and the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Standing in the icy waters of Lake Erie will remind me that small acts, when done with intention, can create real impact. Discomfort fades, but purpose lasts.
This plunge was a reminder to live bigger than myself, to say yes to moments that challenge me, and to show my kids that living a higher purpose means showing up—even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.
Please help me support Special Olympics Ohio Inc by making a donation to the Polar Plunge through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure.
