To Chicken to Polar Plunge
Hello as many of you know myself , Chuck and many of our neices, nephews & friends have been involved through coaching & volunteering for Columbus Public Schools ( Go Comets!!) Special Olympics for over 35 years. What many of you do not know while they are affiliated with Columbus Public Schools ( 2 Staff members are paid) the dollars to support this program are raised through sponsorships and donations. It is the reason I have stepped up and am asking for your help, although I chickened out of the plunge ( it is cold in February!) I can still help raise the funds needed to support our great athletes in their sports. These funds go toward equipment, uniforms, training facilities and health screenings. No amount is to small and makes a difference for our athletes to be able to compete with pride on the sports field.
